A "New to Me" Corbin Seat

I'm currently running a used Corbin (gunfighter?) seat on mine..not too bad for comfort I suppose, and I have found that I don't need the Utopia back rest that I use when I have the stock seat on...couldn't use it anyhow with the Corbin.

Cheers Hanso, I'm waiting for a fairing from them atm...I'll see how long that takes and if I haven't found anything else might get one...I like how you can design your own basically colour and material wise on the Corbin site...

That seat you got was the dual tour and with shipping and the riders backrest I shelled out $900.00 for mine. I paid extra for "custom" work, when I asked what size rider the seat is designed for I was told about 5'8" so I told him I was a couple inches shorter and he noted it and added more padding at the lumbar area making a great fit. Yep, hard seat for sure but the wife quit complaining so either she's comfy or still likes hard things.

Just walked in the door from going on an overnight to Grenfell taking the long around to get there and back about 800km round trip and I never felt like I needed to get of, probably not stopped on way except had to get fuel and when I say long way there and back we spent a lot of time on potholed back roads

my only complaint so far is the rider backrest is in the same place as stock so even at the most foreward position the backrest edges the upper middle of my back. I had been considering rivco risers anyhow and even an inch should make the backrest fit.

How tall are you I am 6 ft and have the the Rivco Riser's with the smallest back rest they make and have the back rest set in the middle it gives a perfect support without hindering movement

5'7" I put the 2nd longest screw in the backrest and I can just stretch to reach so when I get the risers the position should be perfect.

I haven't looked into finding the backrest and mounting hardware for mine, as it's so comfortable the way it is.
