2nd bike for Snuff!

Wow!

Brings back alot of memories. Mine was a year or two before the RD came out. I wish that I had better mechanic skills, I'd take a project like that on. What with rates being $65 per hr. and up, no telling what it might take (plus finding parts) to get that thing running. It's probably got more soot than a city's worth of chimenys inside it. Neat find.

:pAs long as it runs . . you can always mix your gas . . . . injector doesnt have to work. Everything else is easy.. Weisco still makes pistons and rings. Ring ding ding ding

That bike would take $50 max to fix, and that's if you had to buy everything.. It's a two stroke. It has to get fire.. and fuel/oil. If it's not getting fire, it needs plugs, wires, coils, points or condensor. Most likely just plugs. If it's not getting fuel, the carbs need a good cleaning. If it's not getting 2 stroke oil from the oil tank, that system can be cleaned, or you have to tote around your own bottle of two stroke oil to mix with the gas.. That's it.

That guy has a Yamaha 650 twin also for about the same price. Dang I wish I could buy both of them!
