Spoke to a marketing rep from Triumph Australia at the Melbourne Motorcycle Expo on 25 November.
He said Triumph had advised dealers that the Rocket 3 was to be phased out and a new model developed.
His guess was that the existing supply of unsold Rockets would become scarcer and more expensive.
This made me wonder whether his observation was just a ploy to encourage people to rush in and buy while stocks lasted.
My impression was that he didn’t really know what 2017 would bring.
