I recently stayed at the pub in Jingellic on the way to Vic.
The food was ok and they have a couple of small self contained bungalows separate to the pub that were clean but not cheap.
The camping ground on the river bank behind the pub is only about 100mtrs from the bar so an easy stagger and the publican is friendly to bikes.
Jingellic is roughly a two day ride one way from Bris but I would be happy to make the trip again if it was in the warmer months.

Good thoughts, yep. Dubb-Vegus as we call it out here (the bright lights on the plain), is a mixed bag, not sure, very family touristy orientated. Cobar ?????? Hot, dry nothing. Nyngan, great camp ground with heaps of cabins, stayed there once and they accommodated 150 Black dog riders without any trouble. Broken Hill is always fun but somewhere that a large group can sit (like the little veranda at the Seabreeze-only bigger) just isn't there, but the little squirt to Silverton to pretend to be Mad Max is always on the cards from there. Have a look at Nyngan on Google earth, Queenslanders ..... two day run down Rocket suited roads. Adelaide .... the same, south coast two comfy days, me about 5 hrs
The Riverside Tourist Park at NYNGAN. I think the best part is that its on the Bogan River.
The row of 7 cottages face the free camping area (anywhere you want not no money). I think that they are 3 or 4 beds. Its over the river from town, not much of a walk.
I think it fits the bill a bit so far.
