2012 R3R Headlamp Cracked

Had the bike for 5 months, noticed right side headlamp cracked one morning while cleaning the bike, no indication of any rock hitting the headlamp, took it to the attention of my Triumph salesman w/ pics of headlamp (emailed), all he said was he will look into it. Phoned him after a week, was told he was busy with another customer and will call me back in 15 min, did not receive any call back. Was hoping Triumph will warranty defect since there is no indication of a foreign object hitting the lamp. Appreciate any input, called mads.com, $90+ for the headlamp. Thinking of upgrading my headlamp instead of buying stock, any thoughts and or suggestions...

these are replacments.

some have found the oem light output to be sub par I am one of them.

I bought these from ebay and they seem to be acceptable quality.

I have intentions on installing projectors in them though so i dont know what the light output will be..

triumph should warranty yours though.

If Triumph doesn't warrenty yours,
and you want to keep them stock,
let me know, I've got some extra parts laying around.

They dont break for no reason at all.
It might have got hit while it was parked and you were away

Just thought i'd update this
A few of the new Speed Triples have had their headlights cracked and have been
replaced under warranty..Seems like a batch of inferior glass
Might be worth a try
