2005 fuel tank

Had a problem when a strap broke after getting some work done on my R3. Bike fell and deeply dented the right hand side of the fuel tank when it bounced off the railing of the trailer. I have been searching for weeks but have not had any luck. If anyone knows of a good dent free BLACK tank out there let me know.

I went through this same search last summer and had no success for less than $1Large. Wish you good fortune.

IF I have to buy new I will. Just trying not to spend $1100 (US) for a **** fuel tank.

When I fixed my heap I found a matching tank for $450 on eBay. I was extremely lucky. If it's just a massive dent, it can be fixed and repainted for about $600 from a proper motorcycle repair shop.
1 grand for a new tank sounds about right
