2003 Vulcan vs 2012 R3R

I think you should go to any brand forum and read enough you will see all bikes have problems and put enough guys on a forum and it will look bad for that brand or model. I have come from a suzuki m109r and most definately love the rocket , the power and brakes and handling is far superior to the suzuki. If you go to any of the m109r forums you will hear how there gearbox is bad clutch is bad but i had none of these problems. Most of the faults on any bike can be put down too the way they are treated, chuck heaps of burnouts and drag the bike you may have issues ride hard but fair and you probally won't have too many issues.

Gkiller, you shouldn't take me so seriously and I didn't intend to sound annoyed.
I totally agree he should ride as many bikes as he can and chose the one that suits him best - for whatever reason. It's of no concern to me whether he (or anyone else for that matter) wants to own a Rocket. And if he later decides he doesn't want it for whatever reason, then he should get rid of it.

Seriously, all of you guys really need to go out and ride.

Ride a Honda or a Hodaka or a Husqvarna (Yamakawazukis are fine, too)... as it's been said; It matters not what you ride, but that you ride!

This was point exactly every bike has its faults and get enough people in one spot there will seem to be big problems.

All is good here.
And I agree with TriumPhil...its not what you ride, but THAT you ride

And Canberra...no worries.
As I tried to get through in my post...it's not so much the actual bike itself, but the recurring problems that Triumph should have taken care, will not take care of, or denies even exist. I spent a couple of hours reading on the forum last evening and was even more surprised by the number of captains who have left Triumph, or who are planning to leave Triumph and go to another Manufacturer for this reason only (including the fact that Triumph dealers are becoming rare animals).
Again...just opinions. I respect those of others, just as I hope they would respect mine.
Have a great weekend all.

All jokes aside, i have not met abile that idont like, they are all fun to ride, why dont you just buy a tocket and a vulcan? That would make you happy either way
