Jus can't imagine it'd handle as good as the buells I've been on or even the CB750F ( not 'K' model too different animals) with racing suspension , but we shall see ( hope so ).
The only Harley I have owned with any similar torque was my 50 model Pan. Oh, I failed to mention.... The "torque" comparison was for about 30 feet from start because it had the "granny" low ratio first gear (I assume for a sidecar.) It was not unlike driving a John Deere. The 1976 Super Glide (sewer glide) sucked in every respect.
British Steel wins out every time. I've owned a Harley (Electra glide) Or "Granny Glide" as we Aussies call them.
Now I am a proud owner of an R3 classic.
HD overheated, burnt my inner thighs and cut out in heavy traffic. Cornering .......? What cornering ? Okay in the States I know you guys don't have corners but here we have a lot of them and the bike became a Kangaroo around corners ...jump... jump.
HD ? great in a straight line and they have nice seats..........but ?
Supercharged R3 or Nitro ....! Why would you ? You got highways over there where you can get up 300mph ?
We've got some real Bas****ds over here that wear blue uniforms and take great delight in picking on bike riders. They see Nitro on a bike and your likely to spend a night away from home if you know what I mean.

You got that right...John Deere? You located in the UK?
My friend here reckons the HD glide was good as a stump puller for the back paddock fencing. Good around the farm.
Look I shouldn't knock HD too much it was a good bike in a straight line and comfortable.
That's the one thing I do miss. I've tried everything with the R3 - changed the seats, adjusted that suspension this and that but still can't get that vibration out of the bike resulting in a sore bum after 200kms not to mention the sore wrist.....
I am looking at trying to fit other suspension. But then the (Poms - English) weren't too bothered about distance down the local pub/bar and back for about 5kms and that was it...
