GPZ 900 the first liquid cooled Kawasaki..
Have a real soft spot for big Kawasaki's

RJ
The GPZ was a mates bike, it was red and silver he got it painted Kawasaki green. He still own's a green Kawasaki 1000 but it's a 2012. The other bike is a VF 750 Honda and my Wes Cooley GS1000S. How cool did I look with mirror sunnies? Must have been 23 or 24. And Julie in stonewashed denim. The BSA is a mates bike that he still owns and rides now and then.

yes cool indeed just like you I had my first real fast bike a 900 watercooled kawa ninja it did hit 242kph on the speedo when wide open, only tried that once and was in that red and dark silver combo with gold trims original paint . to buy it I traded my two stroke four cylinders RG500 suzuki which was purchased when I traded the turbo Yamaha etc etc .it all started with a 125 scooter lambretta in 1962 ..isn't it fun to rewind this old movie!!

Flashback!!!!!!
You just took me back to those wonderful years!!

This was 27 or more years ago but only 2 motorcycles ago. Brought my Harley in 1990 and sold the GS, sold the Harley 3 years ago and brought the Roadster. In the years before this I owned 5 or 6 dirt bikes, 1969 Trophy, 1972 Tiger, 1981 Z100J, 1982 GS1100G, CB750 trike and 1984 EFE1135.

What I really liked was that all the sheetloads of money the Government spent on the 'slip, slop, slap' advertising obviously wasn't in vain .. great hat Bruce.

I can remember being out with my dad I was about 11yrs old..so about 1963.
Somebody had just parked a motorcycle I have no idea of the make or model..it looked big, but I guess it would to an 11yr old
I stood there feeling the heat off the engine and smelling petrol and oil, my dad then said..come away son that's DANGEROUS
I have loved motorcycle ever since that day.
Brit bikes,German, Japanese, Italian,..2stroke 4stroke..Singles, Twins, Triples, Fours and Sixes..Guy's I fecking love em ALL
