To increase throughput one needs to increase *both* the gozintas and gozoutas.

My Roadster is pretty consistent at 16 L pet km, which is about 34us mpg.

Thought I better edit this, 16km per L.

I know what you mean, I had a 1978 Ford E250 Quadravan with a mild cam, headers and 4 barrel. I don't think I ever busted the 10mpg barrier, usually 8-9 mpg.

My R3T with normal daily driving of 20 miles Interstate and 20 miles of city I get about 28-30 mpg.

16 litres per kilometer sounds like it may be running a tad rich.

That's the last time I ever trust a scan gauge 2, the first fill up was 26 mpg, the second was 33! I'm an idiot, thanks for all the responses. Can I trust the water temp now?! That's mainly what I bought the gauge for !
