11 R3R Lowering

front lovering springs

Hi bagman i have the same problem with 2'' lowering springs only difference is i didn't get a response from scootworks .Did you get instructions how to modify the spacers ? Does anybody out there know what is the exact length of stock of a rocket111 front fork springs .I appriciate any help. Thanks Ned

they never would send them. i slid the tubes up in to the triple tree. only moves them about 10mm. basically, the spacers in the forks have to be cut down.

lovering rocket

Hi Bagman thanks for your responce i modify spacers cut them 2'' short the bike looks great but i haven't taken it for a test ride because scootwork sent me the wrong shocks when i installed them rear mudguard sits on the rear wheel i believe they are from a scooter because they can't hold the bike weight on it own .Thanks Ned

I just replaced the OEM shocks on my '08 Classic with a set of Progressive 412's (11.5") and it's made a HUGE difference!! The bike feels way more manageable - especially at low speeds, parking lots, etc... I'm 5'9"/ 185lbs and the lower center of gravity is perfect. I'm in love with my bike all over again! ...made the girl on the back look hotter and I'm pretty sure it'll make my kids smarter too
