10000 Miles

It is a weird dismount as the kickstand angle is very slight so it's like dismounting a fully upright bike. Repetition and concentration gets me over the back rest as I throw my little stubby leg over. If you are able to do the splits then you're a show off and possibly a girl.

i remember a while back i was having trouble and would grab my pant leg and help my leg over.
u might try standing on the peg/floor board and then just step over (but dont miss the peg)

Like the Bern you mean! Works every time for him.

Standing on the peg... What a great idea.. Have to try that next time i go out. The stand is sooooo long the bike barely leans enough to get off anyway.
If you dont park it on dead flat ground, and its a little off camber, you cant get off at all. Was even thinking of cutting off about an inch at the bottom
and welding a divot on whats left to make it lean a little farther over.

Then you get a bicept workout!
My vtx 1800 had a big lean, what a chore standing it upright. But in your case that would probably be better.

In my garage i dont worry about getting off the bike .. I use a Baxley Engineering Sport Chock. U just drive onto it, and get off. No kickstand required.
Keeps the bike upright for easier servicing too. With the bike upright, it takes up less room too.

Man, bad knees, I do that too
So a girl I knew in high school reconnected, she wasn't really cute, but I mean, she was a cheerleader in high school. But at no more than 5'4", I hate to exaggerate, but pushing 400 lbs. With my wife's permission, I took her for a ride . Tipped the bike over getting on, and well, forewarned, even, she tipped it over again getting off. I was in shape, working out daily, and fully ready, Charles Atlas couldn't have held that bike up. Because of the passenger backrest, to get back on point, trying to get her leg over it.

i bet if she was a 100 pounder she would say no way in hell is she getting on that bike

My wife is small, 100 lbs less than me, anyway, and a wonderfully neutral rider, though she doesn't much anymore
