'09 Triumph promo video.

It's a great vid. Obviously Triumph Marketing put some serious bucks into making it. I wish that they would use some of that money to participate in some of the major motorcycle shows like the Cycle World shows. It's a real disappointment going in and seeing all the factory displays for Harley, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Ducati, and Yamaha (x2 if you separate the Star and Yamaha displays). Only a local Triumph dealer had a small display.

Great catharsis of a moniker coming of age. I wonder if they are preparing to step up to a be a world contender in sales and if the support field is in position for such a situation. Not likely but maybe in the future if they keep growing. I for one don't care for the mass appeal but business is business.

The vid seems more about a lifestyle of risk and adventure than about triumphs. Not too sure about associating motorcycling with base jumping. Overall a good vid, the best part being (for me) the ghostly image of Marlon Brando and the Black Rebels Motorsickle Club on their way to cause trouble in Hoillister. I think most of the bikes they used in that movie were Triumphs.
