Seeing I already purchased the Dealertool, can someone tell me if the cable that came with dealertool is compatible with the tune ECU cable needed for the TuneECU program? OBDII is written on the cable and it came with a CD.
With the knowledgeable assistance of the French software developer of TuneECU we have seven 20050 Custom Dyno-developed Tune Maps that need to be tested on a standard Rocket III [All VINs] before we can post them to the TuneECU website.
I am therefore looking for someone who has some user...
Can someone please confirm what (gears) I4, I3, I2, and I1 correspond to in TuneECU (2010 Roadster)? I thought I4 was the table for 4th & 5th gears, I3 for 3rd, I2 for 2nd, and I1 for 1st, but was then told that one of the tables is also for neutral (?). I3 seems quite different in comparison to...
HI EVERYBODY!!
I use TuneECU and I want to download on my 2007 RIII standard (TORs and cat-bypass) the Full Power map 20050-2..
the map already loaded is the 20226, the only 20050-2.hex I found is this: http://www2.peelo.org:8080/rikunpaskat/20050-2Map-JeppisDynotettu-Tyhjakayntinostettu.hex...
I am using v1.6.8 FYI. Here is what happened, I was finishing up with some minor adjustments with the L tables, hit save and downloaded the tune to my bike. Before I cranked it up, I was looking over the L tables, which looked good, and just so happened to click to open the I1 table and couldn't...
I have a 2005 Rocket, it is not the touring model. I removed standard pipes and cat. Installed the D&D pipes and left the baffles in that they came with. I went to Triumph, and they gave me the Triumph tune for modifies exhaust with no cat. The bike runs and idles and pulls very good. I just...
What TuneECU downloads are available for thr Roadster?
I just installed the triple K&N’s yesterday.
My next plan is to install the jardine header with pipe (that may or may not be open with no baffle) on the right side only.
Thanks.
I have been informed that I am not charging enough for tuning with TuneEdit/TuneBoy or TuneECU.
It seems that one of the members here has contacted a shop on the left coast of the USA about getting his R3 tuned with TuneECU. He was told that he would need to purchase a Power Commander and that...
Looking for a knowledgeable wrench out there to translate the following TuneBoy instructions to TuneECU equivalents.
I need to replace my primary TPS tonight and don't want to screw it up.
Can't get it to work, anyone know what I am doing wrong?
I have loaded the TuneEcu drivers, I have the key file in the folder with the TuneEcu.exe file. TuneEcu tells me it can't connect to bike to check connection then turn bike off and on. Any ideas????
Since I have bought and paid for the Tuneboy software and cable, I should have the possibility to tune my Roadster using a dyno.
however since Wayne at Tuneboy does not publish any base maps for the Roadster, so far the Tuneboy software is for me a scam.
the license key is unique for my bike but...
Using a table like this one as a template recommended by Tuneboy for Air/Fuel-Ratio impovements
do you think this might be a good table for the Roadster?
12.80 is known as the best ratio and I have leaned it in small steps depending on TP.
the same ratio for all RPM is an idea from the...
Anyone keen on writing up a TuneECU tuneup guide for dummies? Id kick in some coin and Im sure other would to.
Looks like there are lots of things to learn about before even going to the fuel maps.
I started at "where is the ECU connection"
Other things like
