Sorry, this is one of my first postings,
I had not heard if anyone tried this so I thought what the hell. I pulled both stock pipes off the R3T and drilled out the cat. I stepped-up the hole to a 1" bit, it was a bit of a chore on the left side. I had to cut the elbow off and with the help of...
Is it worth buying in the US? I'm in Toronto. It seems you usually get a better price in the US. Anything to be careful of? I saw 2 dealers not too far from Buffalo, one in Akron and another in Canandaigua.
Just had my appointment with *****n Stichn here in Denver. I was really expecting to have them tear the cover off, and throw the foam out. We started with our stock R3T seat. Daniel and Brian are artists. Brian sat down and had my wife and I sit on the bike. Within 10 minutes, and after lots of...
Couldn't make a good bracket so held it in place behind the LHS cover and close to rubber wrapped frame member and filled doubled plastic bag with Fireproof Builder's foam behind and under it to build a nest to hold it, nice and sweet. Eventually tied it down with cable ties. Seems to work.
Out...
I'm considering swapping my D&Ds for a full Jardine system. I haven't found anyone who has installed the Jardines on an R3T. I currently have triple K&Ns with the 138HP tune for the R3T.
I'm pretty sure I will need to more fuel to support the added flow of the Jardines. Does anyone have any...
Okay guys, I've posted about this before buy now I want to try and get some firm answers.
I want a tach for my R3T. I want to hear from Captains who have successfully mounted a tach on their R3T. I'd like the following info:
Type of tach;
Step by step instructions and

Hi everyone , just wondering if its possible to lower the Rocket Tourer , if so what would you do just buy smaller shocks , If you do lower it would it effect the handling , I done a search and notice a few have changed shocks on the standard rockets but the tourer seems to be a almost...

I have uploaded a pic of the connector with the contacts pulled. In my 2008 Touring, it appears the wire is RED not PINK. The only other posibility is that I used the wrong connector. In the picture is a 3-pos triangular connector. It has a solid PINK wire that lines up with a Blk/Yel wire...
Fairing for Rocket III Touring (R3T)
According to Corbin, they apparently think their Fleetliner Fairing will work with the Triumph OEM 4.5" aux lamps. I had to straighten out their rep (via email) Sergio that the aux lamps he referenced was for the non Touring model.
I also inquired about a...
Hi,
New forum member here.
Does anyone have a tune for a all stock R3T?
I'll be adding slip-ons and individual filters later this year and will then have it Dyno Tuned by Piper Performance in Fort Worth, TX. Cliff looked at the TuneBoy documentation and say he won't have any issues working...
I bought this one new in March of 08 and by the time I added accessories I had spent 20k on it. I have the original and touring windshield. Also have the accessory pipes and original mufflers. I added the sissy bar with the large pad, triumph sissy bar bag, fog lights and visors. The bike...
I'm installing J&M speakers on my R3T and the installation is easy enough except for connection to a "switchable" power source on the bike. I've also installed the auxilliary lights so that connection is taken.
Any suggestions how to make this switchable connection would be appreciated.
I've searched the posts here that reference removing (lifting) the tank. They said to remove the "allen head bolt" under the "gauges". However, I removed the bear claw with the display and there is no allen head bolt (or any other bolts). There are however, two Torx head screws, one on each...
I have modified the R3T to get back most or all of the power I had on the Classic. Now I keep getting warned by others to be careful of the rear tire as the 180 isn't rated for the speeds that the 240 is. My question is, if you are just a reasonable rider who likes more get-up-and-go off the...
I have the standard Metz tires and don't seem to be able to find out what tire pressure I should be running. I probably should know, but I can't seem to be able to find the information right now. Thanks!!
