  1. Question about Wilbers 642 Shocks

Hi All, I have had a search through the forums and cannot find an answer. Can anyone with Wilbers 642 shocks (the ones with the adjustable piggyback) advise whether you can still fit the Triumph Leather Panniers and the rear dresser bars? Thanks in advance.
  2. For Sale "Sold" Progressive 444 Shocks 13" Brand New

Bought these for my R3T but they don't suit my needs. I tried them one time. I need a heavier duty shock. I use my Rocket like a truck. These are for normal people.
  3. Shocks or Seat?

I'm thinking of making my ride a little more comfortable and, given that I don't have a bottomless pit of cash, which would you suggest to do first? I'm looking at the Progressive 444s and/or a Corbin Dual Tour. Cheers
  4. Fitted Gazi Rear shocks

Thanks to flyreels and TOMCAT I have a set of Gazi rears and what a huge difference tey have made. I had got used to the stock shocks wallowing in the corners. Gazi will service & rebuild them for a reasonable cost but I thought I would give them a run first and have tried a couple of...
  5. Question about Hagon shocks

I see that a lot of people recommend the Hagon Nitros for the R3 but what about the Hagon Road version? Is anyone using them? They are about 1/3 of the price of the Nitros but lack the adjustment. I don't need the adjustment (or do I?) as I rarely ride 2-up.
  6. Caution for those with lowered shocks

Stopped at the servo to check the air in the tyres, looked up under the rear guard and noticed bear wires behind the tail light, obviously happened when I had the lowered shocks and higher profile rear tyre, I did notice that the tyre did scrub a few times with a pillion.
  7. Rocket III Upgrade to 444 Progressive Shocks

Hi Guys, Having got the Flipmeister stand I can now do a few jobs that are part of the Rocket III project. First up is the rear suspension.... we decided on 13 inch Progressive 444's..... Again - I'm no expert - just a rider sharing experiences. Rocket III articles are posted on Bigbikemad the...
  8. Roadster shocks wanted

Mate wants to buy a set of Roadster rear shockies for his Standard. Anyone got a set sitting around they would like to sell ?
  9. Want to Buy Roadster shocks.

Anyone out there who as upgraded their rear shocks & wants to sell their old ones drop us a line:thumbsup:
  10. Which Shocks?

Which shocks would anyone recommend. After 118,000K I'm ready to replace the stockers. I,m leaning toward the Triumph comforts but like the look of the Performance Machine 430 series. I ride quite a bit two up with full load.
  11. Merry Christmas and 'Comfort Shocks' link from Ebay..

Haven't posted in a long while, but hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I am going through Rocket withdrawals even though I am here in San Antonio! It's nice in the evenings, but most every morning has been near freezing and if it's warmer, it's so foggy I can't see!! Grrrrr! On a side...
  12. Can Hagon Shocks be lengthened?

I have the Hagon Nitros rear shocks, When I bought them I got them 1" (ride Height) shorter. Now that I am over all the peg scraping that I do... does anyone know if they can be lengthened? Probably by about 10mm. Is there a Brisbane shop that can do this? Thanks in advance
  13. For Sale 2010 Black Roadster OEM shocks

I have a ad on ebay for selling my stock Roadster shocks if anyone is interested on here. If you're interested in these shocks and don't want to go through ebay then just send me a PM and we can wheel and deal that way. Thanks 05 13 Triumph Rocket 3 Classic Roadster Shocks Stock Pair | eBay
  14. Shorter Rear Shocks

Has anyone fitted 20mm shorter Nitro shocks on a Rocket. In theory it should lower the seat about 25mm, just wonder if there is anyone with experience of this. 11.5" Progressives would lower the seat by nearly 40mm, not sure that isn't too much for suspension/tyre clearance.
  15. Question about shocks

My shocks have numbers on the bottom. 1,2,3. Is this an adjustment? If so how does it work? How do I change it?
  16. is there a general rule of thumb on shocks

So my bike rides kind of rough on bigger bumps on the highway, like jarring. I thought I would give adjusting the shocks a go. I assume the number on the collar should line up the the bolt of the shock as to indicate what number you are on? Previous owner had one shock set to 4 and one to 3...
  17. Progressive shocks - 2013 roadster

Hi folks, needing some help with info about sourcing progressive shocks in the UK for my 2013 R3 Roadster. Love the bike, makes me grin from ear-to-ear when I'm riding, but I find the ride somewhat harsh at times. I'm no lightweight (21 stone / 294lbs / 133 kg of "big bones") and I'm looking...
  18. U[dated opinion on Shocks

I'm still on the fence about shocks. I'm considering Ricor. Anybody out there in Rocketville have these? I'm unhappy with the B.S. that Progressive says about the 444 and the other models only get a lukewarm endorsement. Hagon Nitros get good reply, any other brands in use good or bad input...
  19. Triumph Comfort Shocks

Can any Owners that run or have run the Triumph Comfort Shocks please give a product review .. Appreciate opinions before I purchase ..Thanks fellas.
  20. Anyone using Progressive 444 shocks

I am thinking of getting the Progressive 444 shocks. Anyone have opinions on how well they work. Stock shocks are ok but are pretty harsh at level 3 and above and wife does not like harsh. Stock on level 2 the bike has too much bounch in dips. From video on Progessive shocks it looks like they...
