My 2011 R3T has rips on the drivers seat. I don't want to spend a ton and the back seat and both back rests are fine. Its $650 to cover everything to match. An upholster told me to buy a skin just for the front seat and he can install it for $100. Where do you find a skin? Is the R3R front seat...
Problem with my 2010 R3T, (HELP) ; Clutch in, hit ignition and engine fires up. After a few minutes idle, I pull away and the engine dies after 100 yards, (dash lights on). Fire up again, and die again after a short hop. This stop start thing go on for 3 to 5 times every morning and then settle...
So I fixed the fog light issue today. I reported the harness was bad a few months ago and ordered a new one and finally went by and got it. This is the corroded unit.
On close up you can see the corosion and a broken wire.
As I was putting it all back together, (simple plugs) I noticed...
Howdy All...I have no shame so I thought I would do an update on my PDM60 Power Distribution Module Installation. My previously posted link, provided below, turned out to be a total disaster. I thought I had things all measured and figured out, but my assumption that all the crap hanging down...
I just rejoined here after purchasing a 2009 R3T in blue with only 1.600 miles. I bought it through eBay from a car dealer in Florida and cosmetically it looks great.
This is my second R3T, so I know the model reasonably well.
I'm a bit concerned about what I might need to be concerned about...
Is it a direct fit or is some fiddlin required? I like the look of the Roadster tank over the touring tank. I also believe the Roadster tank holds more fuel.
**SOLD*** Virtually NOS. I purchased, Fiona, my R3T new off of the showroom floor and then rode with this seat the first two weeks until my upgrade with backrest arrived.
I'm currently living in NW Louisiana (71107). $25 plus shipping.

2015 with 65k miles, I hate to even start this, but here goes. Been running Avon Cobras and they were a big improvement over Bridgestones. However, reading reviews and all that, it seems Michelin Commander II's (And Metzler RoadTechs in some circles) are promising more miles and equal handling...
The weather wasn't too bad today so I decided to to start working on a few bike projects. I bought a PDM60 for my bike and although my wiring is nice and solid, I wanted to cleanup things and get rid of some of the inline fuses I tied to my battery, I always solder and heat shrink all my...
I want to thank everyone on this forum for helping me out with this new monster. I am very pleased with it.
I know that a few members here have given me some S#!T for being in the doghouse from the wife for purchasing this bike, but I have been able to get her out on it and I think she is...
2008 R3T, 30,000 miles, has run excellent from day one. No mods, tunes or anything, only a few add-ons. After a winter lay up, then a couple rides around the block the last month or so. She just won’t turn over, only get a “click” when hitting the start switch.
I’m hoping the wisdom of the...
Believe it or not, I have to giggle the key until the headlight stays on and than it will start.
Other than replacing the key switch assembly, does anyone know how to fix it.
Maybe some lub down the keyway?????
I have had a few posts on here and the responses have been wonderful and I have learned a ton.
I have suggested this on a previous post, but I cannot find it.
I have been doing some research and as I have found, as some of the wonderful people here have possibly suspected that I am working...
I'm going to be installing a hitch when it gets here (Bushtec says next week some time). I have the Kuryakyn 7671 trailer light relay set and a PDM60 to protect the bike.
My question is this: How have other people routed the wiring harness to the back of the bike: tucked under the fender with...
High Everyone,
Some of you touring owners expressed an interest in having some bigger laser cut lowers for your bike. This pattern is pretty close to the ones I made for my bike. The holes line up with my stock lowers. I am making no claims about them, but it is too hot riding with them on...
For fellow Touring owners, are your fork tube tops flush with the top of the triple tree, or proud of/higher?
I can't trust the memory banks anymore, but late night falling asleep one night recently I realized mine were 1/4" or better above the triple tree, and sort of, maybe, remember dropping...
