I am interested in a set of Wilbers shocks for my 2011 R3 Roadster. My Canada Distributor says Wilbers tell him a standard R3 shock is 314mm(12.43") long/eye to eye. Yet I seem to remember somewhere posted on this site that an R3 shock is 12.5". I realize that is not much difference, but can any...
My local dealer tells me that there are no matte black R3Rs in Texas.
I called another dealer that showed one online, and he told me the same thing.
Called my dealer back to get one ordered, and he told me that Triumph wasn't going to do any more matte blacks this year. So, they make em in 4...
Hello,
I'm writing from Creative Film Cars in Manhattan. We are the Northeast's premier provider of vehicles for film, television, fashion shoots, magazines and events.
We are looking for a Rocket III with bags (doesn't have to be the Touring model) for a still photo shoot with celebrity...
I have an R3T with the triumph driving lights that have the switch on the handlebar. I am adding an H4 relay for the headlight but I have questions about the auxiliaries.
Do they already have a relay as installed?
If they don't have a relay, will the Eastern Beaver kit with the single...
Sold: Jardines for R3T from Holland.
Took Jardines off - new Dyno run and tune
After having the Jardines installed, killers for them made, I got it Dyno tuned.
My wife was unhappy with the sound ( to Grumpy and loud).:o
Replaced the TORs again and had it on the Dyno again today.

I just ordered a set of liners for my R3T hard bags from TLC Products in California. They're supposed to be custom made to fit the R3T hard bags.
I'll report back after I've received them and had a chance to put them in my bags.
:kk:My dozey Canuck dealer just informed me that the Triumph Dust cover that I ordered 3 months ago is discontinued from Triumph( also the heavier outdoor rated Roadster cover is also discontinued.) So now I will be looking for an indoor/garage use cover to fit a 2011 R3 Roadster. Any members...
Joined today, looked like a very informative group, lots of information. I have had my 2005 Rocket III for almost 2 years now and put almost 18,000 on it. Great ride, except my ingintion switch is starting to go out. I'm from Tampa, Florida and I'm the President of Sons of Sinners riders...
Got my Corbin classic solo seat in yesterday and it fits like a charm! drops me around 2" closer to the ground (almost flat footed now). Wanted to add this post since I have not seen it here yet and Corbin only shows up to 2009 on their site.
Thanks USMC-R3!
A few of us may recall that Brent from TLC Products was putting together some saddlebag liners for our bikes last year.
I received a message from him recently (like some of you probably have) and ordered the pair. About $50 a set delivered. They look good on the website so I'll let you...
Can anyone tell me if the Touring models have the same problems as the classics and standards? by this I mean....
TPS problems
The ignition switch problems
Paint can rattle in transmission problems
2nd gear problems.
I have been reading about these issues with other models but I am not sure...
I remember reading somewhere that you can buy or make lifting brackets that bolt onto the 2 holes in the frame.
Anyone have a link to that or a design I can use to weld up my own?
These brackets would need to go on a regular Harbour freight MC lift.
I am really wary of lifting the bike by the...
Hi guys,
Sorry if this is TL;DR
Whilst I love my F800GS for the adventure riding of dirt roads around Malaysia, I feel there is a hole in my garage that the R3 might fill.
Truth be told, a while back I hired a HD Road King for a couple of weeks and enjoyed the big cruiser experience...but...
I got them odered when my dealer had a 20% off sale so I saved about $100 USD. I promptly installed them myself and fired the Rocket up to hear them. Nice and deep tone to them but not too loud. On March first the weather permitted me to test ride with the new mufflers in place and once again...
Think I have read somewhere that the T-bird risers are a straight swap on to the R3T using the T-bird bolts (even though they bolt up from under the yoke).
Has anybody here done this conversion? I have fitted the Roadster bars and the right position for me is almost there, just need a little...

For those of you that are riding '09 and up R3T's what grade of fuel are you using?
My dealer told me I need to use 91 octane, but I am not sure if thats neccesary as the engine is not high compression and its stock.
Are you all running on 87 octane?
