Had to jumpstart the bike ... wouldn't quite turn over. It's a 2014 with only 3k miles so I was surprised by that, but still. Hook up my charger/jumper for a few, start it up and off I go. Sun goes down and I notice ... I have no headlights.
Running lights, signals, etc are ok. Hi/low beam...
I have a question. I just finished installing my fog lamp kit, and I know they are not level. Is there a formula to a certain height at a certain distance from an object (i.e. wall or similar) for the center of the beam of a halogen so I can get the best out of them and not anger oncoming...
OK - Now I have NO IDEA what they're like BUT

Just a short little post.
I just installed the Skene P3 lights with the turn signals and man am I impressesd. They work extremely well. There is a flicker to the lights you can't see on the video but it's there. Took about 45 min to install.
These are the results of light meter testing regarding the Daymaker headlights (two 5.75") on a Rocket Roadster. The testing was done pursuant to accepted protocol. Note: Testing is done using low beam settings. The horizontal zero is located at the left side of the vehicle, therefor the...
Anybody ever install these LED lights on their ISO Grips on a Rocket. Not sure if they are still available from NEWR3.com but that is where I got them for my America. Worked well functioning as turn signal lights on the bar ends and also as running lights. Haven't seen them anywhere else.
I don't have a lot of money to spend on things these days... so I just had my own fun by playing with these LED strips I bought off of some different places online.
Now in case some of you didn't know, there are many different types of LED's on the market... just a couple of examples
So I...
So, I noticed something today about my brake lights. The rear brake engages the lights first before the brake itself. As it should. But while getting ready to head out to work, I noticed that I had a good .25 inch of lever travel AND braking before I got the distinctive click of the lights...
I just saw this article and was curious if any of you have any experience with it.

I have a light illuminated on my 2008 Rocket III standard. It looks like a little picture of an engine. I thought it was for coolant but that appears to be topped off just fine. Oil is fine too.
Does anyone know what that light is supposed to be telling me?
Karl
PS - It's been at least a few...
I just post this elsewhere but thought it might be good to put separately in its own Thread and by the way I do not feel that Triumphs bandaid solution to this issue really solves it, I am sure there may be some that disagree but time will tell when guys start complaining of the Hi-Low beam...
LED Lights
Harley LED lights. A direct fit. No mods needed. Just leave the plugs for the parking lights alone and remove the bulbs.
Fantastic upgrade. I can see at night for real. Like daylight! Truly WHITE LIGHT!
$702 for the pair. Big bucks but if you ride at night..an essential!

Anyone add lights to their hard bags?
I bought these for the trailer I am putting together to tow behind the bike, but decided not to use them. Now I have the idea of adding them as extra light to the back of the bike...
I will add plugs so I can still remove the bags....
Any words of wisdom...
