Hi all
I'm having trouble with second gear 2006 model.
It's feels as if when I'm giving it a bit of throttle the gear disengages then a loud clunk and away it goes.
Been doing it for a while now but yesterday when it clunked back into place it was the loudest and I nearly filled me pants...
Hey, just made it through a major thunderstorm, the bike's now mostly clean, except its back :whitstling:
I was wearing Rev'It Orlando Jeans and their Bison shirt and can say now, they keep you dry even if you gonna jump in a pool.
There are three things I missed, though. The first...

Ok, finally got myself some descent riding boots - yeah for me :) but now I really don't have room to fit my toe under the gear shift lever. Is the adjustment to allow more room an easy thing to do on my 2007? What about the possibility of finding a heel and toe shifter? Thanking you in advance...
As I work to get a bike to have some trips with my wife, I am wanting to get a good idea of everyday must have gear and long trip must have gear for keeping on the motorcycle.
Thanks
The weather wasn't too bad today so I decided to to start working on a few bike projects. I bought a PDM60 for my bike and although my wiring is nice and solid, I wanted to cleanup things and get rid of some of the inline fuses I tied to my battery, I always solder and heat shrink all my...
Anybody knows of an analog gear indicator? I'm thinking of something old-style with a floating arrow pointing to the selected gear on a linear scale:
/------\
1
N
2 <--
3
4
5
\------/
Similar to those automatic indicators, just with actual gears ;)

Hi all,
With reference to my Rocket Touring 2012, has anyone had to replace the gear position sensor with the new (and supposedly) enhanced wiring harness? The replacement sensor comes with a new wiring set up and it is no longer a simple job of replacing old for new. The new sensor has a...
Hi chaps...I own a 05 classic, whats out there worth buying regarding a gear indicator and are they plug and play on the 05??...Links will be very welcome;)
OK - now it is fair to say it really does NOT rain much here. But right now we are being lashed by Storm Emma and even the ducks are in hiding.
As part of my "Perfect All Weather" layering thinking - I wanted to ask
How many of you have an integrated rain hood in your wet weather gear? - And...
Pity you do not have a scrambler or T100 @scot in exile

Has anyone bought one of these helmets. Back in 2001 there was a company that made these helmets but went off the radar or out of business. The ones that were left that I found were too small for my head. They say one size fits all up to a 24" circumference. I think they're pretty cool but I'd...
I have been searching for this same issue among all of the other transmission problems and have not seen this one yet. I was riding home the other night low speed leaving downtown when everytime I rolled of of the throttle it slipped out if first gear. Did this a few times . When I tried to...
Hi all. I bought my Rocket new, a year ago. First bike I've ever owned.
When was ready to ride awayit wouldn't select 1st. I called the salesman and he tried and couldn't either. He then said just release the clutch lever a fraction and it will select.
It's done this every time on start up for a...
Lucky enough to have purchased from new a 2015 Triumph Rocket X after having owned bikes all my adult life. Sold my Harley Trike to get it. Love the machine, hate the headlights. They're by far the worst on any bike I've ridden.
I'm currently in the USA for 3 months riding around the country on...
