I'm about to order a new set of Raask slip ons for my R3T. I know they're fairly easy to install. Just wondering if there are any extra things I need to get like crush washers or seals of some kind ? Is it really just a bolt on an go ?

Hello, when it comes to after market exhaust for the R3C or the R3, i have installed on mine the 3 to 2 RAASK full exhaust system about 6 months ago or so with the power commander computer and let me tell you.... that system is great, the product is nicely build, the chrome is excellent and the...
I was told from my dealer to be safe wrap my pipes with exhaust tape and that will take the heat away from my side pieace I made, and it should be fine.
So I bought some Graphite Black Exhaust insulating wrap it took some time to do but it turned out nice.
It really takes away from all that heat...
An update on the tape, it works great. No more roasted thigh! I've been testing it in the Arizona desert with temps close to 100 degrees. Worth every dollar!
So I have been reading alot about people drilling their stock exhausts instead of buying aftermarket pipes. I have not read much on somebody doing this on a rocket touring or a standard. has anybody got any info on this or might I be the guinea pig? The touring does not have "tips" just a center...
Got the tape on my pipes, not too bad a job. The heat shields fit back over the tape nicely and I was able to do the job with the pipes on the bike. We'll see what kind of difference it makes. I'll miss the heat while we are in Colorado, but not so much when we are headed down to Tomb Stone AZ.
Guys -
I am new here, and I knwo this is probably beating a dead horse around here, but I am getting the new ride tomorrow. On the top of the list are new pipes. My main focus is for looks as I don't really care for the splayer out ends and feel pipes look best when they are parallel to the...

I installed the triple K&N's on my 07 Rocket 3, but can't install my Pred exhaust until I get my gaskets from Triumph :( Is there a good tune to use until I install my pipe for full power in all gears? Thanks
Guys, can anyone tell me what the exhaust port dimensions are on the R3? I news the width and height. Measuring the pipe in situ is very difficult and it's a real ball ache to have to remove the headers to get the dimensions if someone has already done it. I need the dimensions to order some...
Just picked up my '07 R3 standard and had the service dept at the dealership install the Jardine exhaust and retune the bike before I picked it up. After reading a bunch of posts here and looking at Pig9r's tune listing (thanks!), I was surprised when the service manager told me he used the...
All, I am seriously considering laying the cash down and getting a Tailgunner rotating cannon exhaust for my rocket. Why? Well truth be known my family and all the guys I ride with are Harley riders, and I've always wanted the Harley sound. Yeah I know I know it's a f***** stupid reason. :eek...
Anyone done the flame trick yet? I see that the kits are getting smaller and will easily fit on a bike now. I made a set up when I was a kid that took up alot of space and was a pain in the ass for my '67 mustang out of a model A coil. Thought I was cool as ****. Was just wondering if someone...
