I needed a single crash bar and didn't want to have to purchase both. After a LOT of looking around, I came across twowheelpros.com. They have crash bars for all the Rockets and you can get just one if you want. I got a single for my Touring for 150. I think that's fair. Just thought I'd share.
Was talking to anouther captain the other day, he mentioned that he wouldn't mind a set of custom made crash bars... Just gotta borrow some to take some dimensions etc.
If postage is required I will pay etc.
Or if someone has a set for sale at a reasonable price, that would work too.

This question is aimed at Scot in Exile but everyone is welcome to chime in. A fellow I work with was just in a crash with a cager. The lady started to pull out and stopped, my bud started to slow. He figured she finally saw him and started to resume his speed. When he was a little closer she...
Heres another one close to me.
A German citizen was killed Saturday afternoon when his M/C went out of control on a turn on Amboy Road at the top of Sheep Hole Pass.
Witnesses said the driver was traveling west on Amboy Road when he failed to negotiate a right turn. The M/C then left...

Does anybody have any suggestions for a way to stop the wind that comes through there? I don't know if anyone has bought covers for their crash bars and who or where they got them from. Any help would be great.
Thanks, Ken
P.S. Its on a 2010 R3T.
Seen on the German Rocket Forum amazing Crashbars ( and Rocket Plate in between)for all Rockets.
They really give the Bike a different even bigger performance.
Have a look at: Biete: Sturzbügel 42mm und 50mm Edelstahl - Forum von www.rocket3.org

Literally... Dang.
Out on a ride two weeks ago. Unfamiliar with the two lane road, passed slower traffic and found myself heading into a curve too fast. I think I laid it down, but honestly am not certain.
No one else involved. All on me.
Bike burned about 20 feet from me as I lay with...
I just got this email this morning announcing the registration events for UK style "crash cards". Sounds like a great idea. I'll be picking mine up on Saturday.

I am a new R3 owner with a 06 standard . I am looking for a decent set of crashbars . The only choice seems to be OEM & Rivco. Not having dealt with the Rivco company I do not know anything about their products.
I want something sturdy enough to protect the bike in-case of a lay-down at low...
I want to remove the front crash bars to powdercoat them but looking at them, the bolt that holds them on at the top also appears to be an engine mount? I have the manual but can't find anything about it in there.
My question is if I remove the long bolt do I need to support the motor and does...

I've mentioned my crash many times since joining this community after buying my RIII and I just got my hands on these pictures of the accident scene of my crash. Basically I was headed to work on the interstate when an oblivi-tard decided he needed to turn on the next exit 5 lanes over (he was...
So what is the story on the crash bars/engine guards? I've seen several different posts on the Triumph and the Rivco's, neither one have struck me as doing much to keep the bike from being damaged. It seems like they "lessen" the damage but might not be as functional as we would like.
Anybody...
I just finished installing my Rivco Crash Bars that the the fat man man brought. FYI when you remove the the motor mount bolt, be careful not to drive the bolt out (after jacking the bike up) without watching the other side. It can hang on the radiator trim if you are not paying attention or...
