    Alright. Sorry if I came through strong... but I’m waiting on whether Triumph will replace the pannier that came off (under warranty). It had less than 5kg in it, at the time, and shouldn’t have come off (at ~80km/h). I’ll post more about it only if it’s not replaced under warranty.

    I can tell you, from recent experience, that the metal brackets are NOT the weak point. I actually like them.

    It’s the plastic bit holding the socket for the key—the pannier is screwed onto it with four little screws (not even bolted to it).

    Mines been roughly the same as the weather app (when moving). Of you’re sitting at the side of the road on hot tarmac then I’d expect it to be more.

    The locking brackets are currently held onto the panniers with 4 little screws into plastic. If your riding is going to be smooth all the way, and not force the panniers in the opposite direction on the two other mounts (where they just sit)... and if you don’t need to carry more than 5kg...

    I ordered my GT in October last year, from the importer here in Australia, and I'm still waiting (they're now saying late July). I believe the main hold up with me was that I wanted the Silver GT, and not the black... Ordering in January and coming last week sounds like a dream to me! :)
