    Dealer fixed it, it was the new style plug connector for the whole harness that melted. To me it looked like some large diameter wires and very little pins in the connector. They removed the connector and just hard wired it.

    My 08 R33 just failed this morning, left me stranded on the way to work. It got towed to the dealer for switch replacement. I just got home and started searching on here... is there a recall or anything that Triumph did to cover the cost or remedy this problem? I guess i didn't start pulling on...
