  1. Innovv K5 camera system

I haven't picked one up yet, and not sure if I will. I haven't found a great spot to mount it that would be unobtrusive enough for my taste. I am going to revisit this one in the spring and think about it some more, depending on if I can find any good places to mount it. B
  2. Werkes - early observations and a couple of tips for installation

And when you let off the throttle under load (e.g., decelerating), there's some pretty loud popping, even with the silencers in. So if you're in a place where they really crack down on noise, you should be careful for sure. B
  3. low fuel warning

Ha! I was just out of options. Stopped at a gas station when it was pretty low, but they were out of gas, so had to find another. Despite living an hour from one of the biggest cities on Earth, gas stations are pretty scarce in Southwest Connecticut, though, so I had no other choice. That...
  4. low fuel warning

Just a couple days ago, I went at least 10 miles past when it reached 0 miles of range, then put about 4.6 gallons of gas in it (have to love the Northeast US, where gas stations are so few and far between). No clue how much farther I could have gone before it ran dry, because I haven't been...
  5. Innovv K5 camera system

Happy Thursday! Has anyone installed on of these camera systems on the R3 or R3 GT? I'm debating whether to get one and want to know whether anyone found a good place to mount it, run the wires, etc. Thanks, B
  6. Rocket 3, 2020 and later, Tank Removal

Great description. I was planning to throw a camera system on the bike (likely Innovv K5), but tank removal sounds like a bit of a pain. Has anyone had any success running wires back from the front without taking the tank off? Not sure if the channel is fish-able. Thanks, B
  7. Werkes - early observations and a couple of tips for installation

That's certainly a haul to get to a dealer!
  8. Werkes - early observations and a couple of tips for installation

    Yep. 12202043, gasket exhaust. B
  9. Werkes - early observations and a couple of tips for installation

It definitely was heavy, and a big tumor is a good description. I forgot about having to move that clip. That is definitely something folks should remember to do. I'll certainly give the copper gasket seal a try. I'm going to pop it apart this weekend and see if it's leaking anywhere. Mine...
  10. Werkes - early observations and a couple of tips for installation

I just did the same swap the other day, and what a massive difference. Nice throaty, mean sound. The popping on deceleration is definitely a lot louder, so I'm going to have to check for leaks (though I was pretty diligent when installing, so think it may just be something to get used to)...
  11. Bag for Luggage Rack

Definitely good advice on connecting to that stock rack. Non-parallel slots were a pretty dumb idea by Triumph for something that should be designed to carry something. I'm going to try to find a spare baseplate for the passenger seat pack so I can experiment with modifying it to allow it to...
  12. Bag for Luggage Rack

I'll definitely give that setup a try. I found the same thing about putting it on the passenger seat. It doesn't sit back far enough to make it comfortable. Odd design for sure. I will see if I can come up with something to mount it to that luggage rack though. Thanks for the idea! B
  13. Bag for Luggage Rack

My challenge has been when I have my fiancé on the back seat. If I'm riding alone, I have the Triumph pillion pad bag that mounts right on top of the passenger seat. Unfortunately I haven't convinced her she has to sit on top of that one :) I'll try monkeying around with a backpack on the...
  14. Bag for Luggage Rack

Ha! That is about all that will fit on that one. Definitely makes the stock rack a bit useless. I'm determined to find some solution! There has to be something out there useful to strap to that tiny plot of aluminum. B
  15. Bag for Luggage Rack

Ah, that makes sense. The Lamonster rack looks a bit big to me, though it is WAY more useful than the stock rack (and, no doubt given the other stuff I've gotten from Lamonster, of epic quality). I just need to find something small that fits on the Triumph rack - mainly for gloves and glasses...
  16. Bag for Luggage Rack

I saw that one, but only after I already ordered and installed the factory one, so I don't want to end up with two of them. That one almost looks a bit too large (disproportionate maybe) but may look different in person. For now, though, I'm stuck trying to find something that fits on the...
  17. Bag for Luggage Rack

Hello all! I am new to the group, having picked up a new Rocket 3 GT about a month ago. Among other accessories, I picked up the luggage rack that attaches to the back of the backrest mounts. Has anyone found a bag that fits well on it? I'm surprised Triumph isn't making and selling one, and...
