It doesn't but these bikes it get real exciting out there. The hardest bikes I ever ridden out there by a huge factor. I wouldn't advise any rider not to ride a Rocket 3 as a first ride on the salt. The helicopter ride to hospital is over $54,000😄😄
If you venture over the next few years we'll help you get on the salt and perhaps a speed record trophy for your favorite place in your shop. The record in the 3000cc modified blown partially streamlined class is just of 161 mph. However, the big engine Rocket 3 especially the first edition is...
I guess once you get all together and getting running I'll have to book a trip to Ireland for a test ride😁😁 Aussuming our Rocket 3 ride at Bonneville goes as planned in August. It would be really cool to get the supercharged record out there.....just saying.
Like the hair and chops. I've just posted part 3 with 25 Wednesday and Thursday bikes and I think the 3rd one from the beginning is a 1971 Suzuki 500 Titan.
There was a 1942 WLA S226.1 but wasn't a three wheeler that sold for $55,000 but the 1941 Harley Davidson TA Knucklehead fis your description S172.1 which sold for $82,500.
Too cold to talk....needed some music. Most of my favorites are from the mid 1960s through the 1970s so about half the viewers never heard the tunes before.😄
I've drilled both my clutch and brake levers on my Thruxton R. Additionally I pulled the brake pads away from the front and rear brakes.
If you watch my 2021 run vid below you can see pumping the front brake lever a dozen times before anything happens. It's a bit tricky if you get excited...
The last Rocket 3 I rode without rotors and calipers didn't end well....way too much weave.
The last Rocket 3 I rode without rotors or calipers had a tremendous weave and well didn't end too well😁😁
I got my Rocket 3 training done now, however the Rocket 3 is one of hardest bikes to ride on anything other than perfect salt because of the huge amount of torque. The slightest throttle movement can bite you.
The link is to our meeting about going back....it is 37 minutes long (sorry).
Join us and be a fly on the wall, remember we are just three regular guys pursuing something we like to do.
