    R3T Fog Light Question

All, I picked up an '08 R3T recently. The factory fog lights were disconnected at some point do to a weird battery drain/short issue. My question is: where is the harness plug and/or relay located? I saw a female two prong wire connector/lead off of the right side under the panel, a fbut I...

    New Shocks on the XS1100

The hilarity was that it had both electric and kick start options. But, the electric was too anemic to work properly, and it usually kicked over on the first try. But, you had to use the choke, even half-warm, as She was cold blooded. Had a -2 rear sprocket for better acceleration, but it was...

    New Shocks on the XS1100

This makes me almost miss my ol '81 XS650 Special II. I miss the kick start, and its general affable nature. It was a bit too small for me, but it was a honk to ride and had been made into a bobber, prior to that being the cool thing to do, circa 2002. If I were to get another one, it would be...

    Hello!

I know for my frame, the old Goldwings were more comfortable than the new model, even if the new model may be a better bike. I almost squeezed the trigger on the Goldwing F6B, but when my friend told me He was thinking of selling this bike, that changed my focus immediately. I'm only 6'2"/240#...

    **Found** Fog light R3T

I know that this is an old thread, but I also saw you other one with the fog light harness replacement. My question is, on my '08 R3T, the previous owner said that he had encountered a situation where there was a drain on the battery. Once he unplugged the fog light relay, it went away. I...

    Hello!

Thanks! It sounds corny, but after having ill-fitting bikes for a long time, riding this bike home, was honestly good for my soul. I didn't even move very fast (mostly), but I didn't care. I eventually may buy a newer Rocket, but this bike is a keeper.

    Hello!

So I brought it home yesterday. This was halfway home, stopped for breakfast with the boss in Derby. I forgot that it had a throttle lock on it, and either had the baffles removed, or other pipes put on, as it's far louder and throatier, than a stock bike. I'll have to ask my friend what was...

    Sound options for '08 Touring?

New owner of an '08 R3T here. I'm wanting to get some music on my ride, and am surveying the options, between the bullet and soundbar styles of speaker and the in-helmet options. For those of you who've tried them, which would/did you choose? I'm strictly a full-face helmet Man, due to the USAF...

    Hello!

Boog, yes that's what I was trying to say. I knew it Mc-Something.... LOL No, @EasTexRIII I am not. It's a Masonic reference, and I use it on certain sites as it elicits a neat reaction from other brethren from around the world. I've been firmly planted in KS my entire life, though I've seenn a...

    Hello!

This is the only picture right now. I'm buying it off of a friend and former supervisor on base. He let me ride it a year ago, and I was hooked. As soon as he gets it out of Biker's Edge in Wichita (yearly service, plus some weird electrical issue causing a random no-start/no-crank, after...

    Hello!

Near Udall, roughly 20-30 minutes from the OK Border. I think eventually I'm going to have to take the R3 to go see the Arbuckles out your direction.

    Hello!

Greetings from KS! I'm a new owner of a 2008 R3 Touring, but not to bikes. I belong to a few other forums, but seeing as this is my first English bike, and a unique one at that, I figured that finding the appropriate forum with knowledgeable people might be a useful move in this new venture...
