    Competition Werkes Exhaust 2020 R3

Must keep Lambda. Closed loop mode will self correct. Open loop , mostly low rpm, will be a tad leaner. This could effect rideability Probably not hurt engine

First Bad News for new Rocket: oil leaks

Saw R3 engine still on floor today. Asked dealer what was up ? Said leak in upper casting would be “patched”. If like the leak around front cylinder bolt on my (new at the time 796 model) Ducati, they wait for materials and instructions From manufacturer

First Bad News for new Rocket: oil leaks

This post seems to have drifted away from engine oil leak . This is real. Not somthing to wipe up. Apparently Not to be plugged up. I was just at my dealers and they have a 2020 Rocket in a bay with the engine sitting on the floor.

    Odd Vibration

I have a similar rhythmic vibration, like running over rough pavement, more noticable the faster you go. 3 little bumps then nothing, then 3 bumps again.. have 3 thousand miles and this is Just now happening. I think its something wrong inside my rear tire, maybe. Last ride , during a break...

    Mid Controls Installed

6’1” knees fit against tank comfortable. Can relax my legs, straight down from knees as opposed to holding them up on forward pegs . Allows me to support my back without pulling on the bars Did mount controls in lower holes On engine brackets

    Mid Controls Installed

Took 8 weeks but got my kit to convert my GT to Mid controls All went well. Only goof was forgetting to put plastic plugs on shifter side. No biggy. Not taking brackets off again. Brake bleed went similar to normal but required much more time/effort than usual I did determine that the front...

    Pegs

I’ve ridden with forward controls for several thousand miles and HATE it. My low back and legs HATE it. Old guy syndrome. I’ll continue waiting

    Alcohol More than 10% ?

I do have access to non ethanol and all I use for small machines. Curious about the manual reference to 25% because AMA says no motorcycle sold in US designed for more than 10%

    Alcohol More than 10% ?

Head scratcher. My owners manual says no greater than 10% ethanol in UK. All other markets up to 25% Makes no sense unless Triumph has manufactured the first Motorcycle for sale in the US that can run more than 10%. Maybe UK’s alcohol is better stuff Or maybe my reading comprehension needs work

    Pegs

I want to do that but looking at the position of the brake and shifter on R model and my GT I’m thinking the forward pegs only , will impede proper operation of mid control pedals. Even if the pedals clear I think my size 14 boots will touch forward pegs. I haven’t tried it yet but doesn’t look...

    Rear brake line replacement

Thanks, I do have a bleeder kit and have done it. Just concerned that the line does NOT go to the rear brake, but some sort of valve to allow the front brake to partially activate the rear brake. The procedure could be same but maybe not.
