These are being built as I am writing this. Totally custom for me. My idea being put together by my friend and fabricator Eric aka Dr. Smash. I'm very excited.

Does anyone have one they don't need? Mine broke where it fastens in the front. Does anyone know if cast aluminum is fixable?

    Draining the tank

What is involved when having to drain the tank. My road glide had an easy quick release that only shed a few drops and made draining it for paint a moot point other than making it heavy. What's the best and safest way to remove the fuel from the tank?

    Appreciating what I've got.

I was just hanging out at my house when I had the urge to pull my bike out of the garage. I adjusted the handlebars yesterday and wanted to check out the new look. The backrest I installed puts me farther forward in the saddle and while my posterior and back are enjoying the new feel my right...

Does anyone have a spare heat shield?

I was wondering if anyone who has upgraded their header would mind parting with one of the 3 upper heat shields? I'm just trying to cover where my slip on fits. Thanks. Norm

    Utopia backrest for R3T

Hi guys. I finally got around to ordering and installing a Utopia back rest. It didn't take too long and its pretty straight forward. You will want to have a staple puller to get the seat cover off and a pneumatic or electric staple gun to put it back on.

    LED turn signals on touring.

The wires that need to have the resistor spliced in between the two wires can be accessed through the right side panel. They are the two with the white connectors. I used solder, shrink tubing and electrical tape.

    I love this stupid bike.

Rather than pack and smoke another pipe I decided to take my bike on a quick jaunt down the highway and back. What a rush. This bike never disappoints. JOY

    Subaru help wanted

I know this is a bike forum but I know some of you go fast guys play with your cars too. I have a 2001 Subaru Forester with a 2.5L NA motor. I plan on modifying the air box by cutting the dirty side off. I thought about fabricating a cold air intake but thought making the motor suck through a...

My bike smells like a bbq

I'm running a nels tune meant for a bike with the ram air filter and tors. I currently have triple K&Ns and an open megaphone type pipe. Lately i've noticed a burning smell when I come to a stop and the stock heat shields are making much more of a tingy sound when I shut the bike off. The bike...

    Thanks @Clavinger

Thanks for sharing the Nels tune for the touring model in the resource section. My bike is running smoother now than ever before. I changed the settings to top out at 7000rpm. I'm not sure if he tuned it up to 6500 and no further as I can only get to 55mph in first gear now. Other than that...

    Three into one exhaust pipe

My pipe finally arrived and man is it loud. Seat of the pants performance is awesome. I'm not sure if I will get used to how loud it is. Anywho I made some videos of how the TORs sound. Without a pipe and with the new pipe.
