    Rear Indicator

Sorry, can't help with the electrical side of things but just as a FYI & FWIW, I've had two replaced under warranty - "characterful" quality! Might be worth considering just replacing with an alternative.

    Oil level

If the oil level is anywhere between the max & min mark then it's absolutely fine - your oil pressure is the critical part. Even if the oil level was slightly below the min mark, it would still easily pick up enough oil to maintain pressure - there is always a buffer built in. Yes, I personally...

    Soft rear brake after recall

Another one here too... Had a soft rear brake originally, recall with new parts performed & seemingly all good for a few months (ridden once a week). Bike had a about 2 weeks of not being ridden and the soft rear pedal is back now. Service due in 3 weeks so will be looked at then.

Thoughts on this new way of adding storage?

Have used this type of bag previously (albeit slightly smaller) for weeks long road trips and it was perfect. For the R, just make sure the rear bodywork is protected, sitting on the pillion seat would damage the paint quickly. Even so, I'd not be mounting it on the sissy bar rack - it's got a...

How accurate is the low fuel countdown?

Been to zero distance left a few times. Just accelerate very hard - I always gain a few extra miles range that way according to the gauge ;)

    Front Tire Choices

I love the Michelin Road series of tyres, have been using them for years on the other bikes. But why the suggestion to mount a rear tyre backwards if used on the front? I'm aware that the tread patterns run seemingly backward to each other when comparing front to rear but I thought the...

How far with 0 miles showing on the dash .

I've had 0 kms left showing a few times - got another 40+kms (25 miles) each time with at least 0.5 liter left in the tank. Interestingly, if you do a hard launch from standstill with zero left, it'll make fuel and give you another 10-20 kms

Did your 2020+ Rocket 3 Instrument Cluster glass crack?

Instrument is only available as a complete unit (yes, I did ask) which also matches the spare parts listings. I believe it's also not designed to be disassembled with some components "glued/fused/plastic welded" during assembly. Of course, once out of warranty, I'd be giving it a red hot go to...

    Rocker decal

It's listed as part# T1260743 Cam Cover Decal so it'll just be a stick on emblem - just prise it off. ...is my best guess

Rear wheel bolt pattern and offset??

Thanks, I was wondering about this recently myself. Had thoughts of fitting a rim from a car. Turns out that the bead design of a car tyre/rim is different to those of a motorcycle. Strangely, it's closely enough that you CAN... but not for me unfortunately

    New Tires Soon...888?

I've been using these over the last several generations of them on my other bike(s) and yeah, they are fantastic. I've never mixed tyre types before but if the 888s were the only option again - I'd give this a try for sure

    New Tires Soon...888?

I avoid straight roads as much as possible and find the 888s adequate, when it's dry - pegs are touching down regularly. But in the wet, I think they are horrible. Very little grip & I have almost no confidence in the front. I'll personally be avoiding the 888s if I can.

    Passenger Pegs...

Not that I've pulled the R3's pegs apart but on previous bikes, it's either been a spring washer or ball bearing pushed by a spring providing the tension/pressure. Could just be a case of too much dirt build up jamming something up - a good clean & relube might do the trick. 🤞

    Gaps with the undertray/underside

I take this part off regularly for cleaning & am yet to figure out a trick to getting it back into place easily. Just as I'm reaching the point of frisbee-ing it, it just effortlessly clips back into place. I think it's just mocking me now.

    Battery Draining Issue

A dud battery? Need to try a new one & see if the problem persists.

Mine was & my friend's was too, twice for him.

    Advice and Reassurance

There was/is a recall for the rear brake. Mine had the problem but a new master cylinder (larger internal bore I believe) was fitted and it's been fine ever since.

New Performance tire for Rocket 2.5 from Metzeler

I'm currently running the 888's as there was no other choice and whilst acceptable in the dry, I've found them terrible in the wet. Scary lack of grip. So, really looking forward to trying the Cruisetec - has anyone run these in the wet yet?

Don't ride your R3 in the rain!

    Err, nope!

Don't ride your R3 in the rain!

So if you wet it you'll void the warranty but if you don't wet it (for washing) you'll void the warranty - cheeky buggers! FWIW, I've ridden for hours at a time in torrential rain at highway speeds without any problems
