If there was 2 things you could add or change on the Rocket 3 what would they be?
#1 I would ask for a beastly sounding stock horn to match the bike....not the moped one they gave us...lol #2 another Gear- Words: 25

Yamaha rider - considering a new Rocket III - would like advice
Yes! Do it!! I went from a 1977 xs750 to this bike...very little learning curve..(handles awesome at low speed, and low center of gravity) ...and if your doing it as a daily rider you will not be dissapointed!- Words: 40

Replacing rear wheel bearings
I just changed my rear wheel bearings...pretty easy. Reason for changing them, I noticed a small noise at a low speed and when cornering (first thought it might have been rear breaks, they were getting close to life) No special tools where needed just a good hammer and bar of some sort to punch...- Words: 98

Thank you mikedey, I checked the level and it was very low. I bought the bike with 5kmiles and never really thought to check it...thank goodness it didn't seem to do any harm :) The fluid was very black and glittered with little metal flakes (but I think this is the first time its been changed)...- Words: 67
