My plan was to purchase a complete seal kit from Oberon after they promised to send the O rings FOC.
After a few emails they sent me an invoice for £30 for a incomplete seal kit.
Oberon were not very helpful and wanted £149.99 for a new cylinder. After some searching on line i found on new...
Thought i would post the drawing that Oberon sent to me with the seal kit. Thanks for the link if they worked for you then i will ordered a set.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Art,
Thanks for your reply.
Oberon sent the new replacement seal kit out to me on 04/02/2020 so they would have been fully aware of your issue. At the time they said it was unusual for the slave cylinder to have an issues so check for burrs in the casing as these could damage the o rings...
Thanks for you reply Art.
Strangely Oberon are still saying that they are unaware of the issue. They did however say that they would look for alternative O rings.
I have told them of the issues here on the forum and your finding the EPDM version O rings.

Having clutch problems with a leaking slave cylinder. Looks to me like a O ring has failed. I know most of us with the Oberon Buell 1125 slave cylinder used on TTS supercharger kits have had a few problems.
The latest problem for me was i noticed a lost of clutch fluid. On further investigation...
No i didn't use any wrap but like you say that would help...
I don't have any rattling noise and the one fixing screw was enough..
To be honest it's takes a while to fit.....Cut a little at a time until you get a snug fit..
In the photo the top baffle is from Carpenter...The other is the Samson..
The Samson fits inside the exhaust around 4 or 5 inches..As you can see in the photo most of the cone has been removed..
Hope this helps you..
A few years ago when i was out riding my Aprilia Tuono 1000 i had puncture in the rear tyre....
It's just unbelievable what i pulled from the tyre...NO it wasn't the pen.
So i have noticed that the lower part of the fork tubes are slightly pitted..It's only on the very lower part and is about 1 inch or so up from the casting.
But it's only going to get worse.
The plan is to get the tubes re-chromed and get the top tube and the lower casting powder coated...
I am in the process of installing the engine update kit..I did start a thread asking for advice on the torsional damper bearing and luckily R-III-R Turbo replied
with some great photos covering the replacement of the bearings..The bearing didn't feel too bad until i cleaned them with petrol.
Hi Martin,Yes i was there on that ride and my brother came along too...It was great to put faces to names.. Hopefully we can all do another ride out in the near future..
My rocket is a 2007 and never had the update kit fitted..The original large bearing was open both sides now the updated...
Hi Martin,No problem mate..
I am doing the update kit on my 2007...Doing the torsional damper bearings at the moment...
The bearing was installed the wrong way around...Caught them before they did any damage..
Hope your rebuild is going ok..
Thanks again really helpful photos...Looking at the photo with the 2mm gap between the bearing and shoulder
i should be able to remove the bearing without it flying off..
Looking at your photos when you pressed on the new bearing it stayed there allowing you to fit the clips..
