    Corbin Gunfighter Seat

I have had similar problems in the past, and have used a washers under the pin mountings to lower it slightly until the rubbers soften - then take them out when the seat becomes looser ?

    Rmoving injectors to clean

Add half a bottle of "Cataclean" (one bottle is sufficient for an average car) then fill tank with high-octane super unleaded, the highest octane you can get. This stuff will cleanout the entire fuel system with the use of that one tank of fuel. Run it low, then refill with normal 94 RON 👍😎

    Found good extended risers!

I'm 5'11" and found the bars a bit too low. Simple solution I've done on all my Rockets (3 Roadsters and now a GT) - slacken the handlebar clamps slightly, and raise the bar ends about 35mm. Retighten, and then slacken and rotate the levers/master cylinder clamps to get them level again...

    GT Brake Lever Height?

As a last resort, get the lever cut, modified, & re-welded ?

    GT Brake Lever Height?

Well that looks simple enough ! pull of the spring clip, slide out the clevis pin and it looks like the adjustment rod will fall out - It'll be a bit trial & error but do-able ?

Genuine Triumph Tail Bag - FAIL In my case.

Agree with all these sentiments, but I only want one bike. Only had the GT since August, but hoping to do some touring this year when the weather picks up. We have the new Triumph panier luggage which is great and I also have a Ventura Spada bag that slips over the sissy bar, rests on the rack...

Genuine Triumph Tail Bag - FAIL In my case.

Touring, two-up - well, that's another matter 😟 After 17½ years and over 100,000 miles on three Gen 1 Rockets, we're more than used to luggage & packing. Changing to a GT last August however has proven challenging. We seem OK with the new pannier luggage (seems a bit bigger that the original...

Genuine Triumph Tail Bag - FAIL In my case.

I did manage to find this image showing what looks like a Triumph tail bag that someone has fitted with cable ties, and it looks good ?

Genuine Triumph Tail Bag - FAIL In my case.

I've been through the same process, and come to exactly the same conclusion - but I didn't buy the bag. I just want something to carry a few bits & bobs when I go out, and don't like rucksacks. I've settled for a cheap & cheerful 10Ltr bag from ebay that has a velcro strap underneath and I use...

    Best Comment from Non-Rocket Owner?

The aloof attitude is sadly a consequence of the UK IAM. I've been a member for 13 years, all the time with a Rocket. It took three years before they got over themselves, and actually figured out I knew how to ride it, and they couldn't lose me. Generally they are a pretentious bunch of...

    No headlights, no start

12v just isn't enough to start a Rocket, as previously said, sounds like the battery isn't man enough. It takes a LOT to start a Rocket and the battery needs to be in tip-top shape as well as fully charged ! Try jump-starting it off a car first. If that works - there you go !

Manual transmission shifting on the Rocket vs other bikes with smaller engines

Long straight roads are one thing, but chucking it around twisty Welsh mountain roads is quite another. I've found lots of gear changes and keeping the engine in the 2-3.5k rev range where all the torque is - is the best way to make rapid progress in the twisties. On big long straights, well -...

    Tacho stopped working

That sounds suspiciously like some corrosion in the multi-plug connector to me ? lift the tank, and trace it down to the multi-plug and have goooood look in there !

    I am now a Rocketman

There is a good map on the TuneECU database, I've used this for sometime with Ramair and de-cat exhaust, a similar setup. I've attached it,....

    Best Tire Size for Handling

The Road 6 tyres are not available in suitable sizes for the rocket 😟 There are however the Crusetec that they fit on the R3 Storm - not tried them yet myself 👍

    Corbin rear fender kit

I understand Corbin are a US based company, and from the UK owners club have heard nothing but nightmares about the UK distributor. However, is this what you're looking for ? - Corbin Motorcycle Seats & Accessories | Triumph Rocket 3 | 800-538-7035
