Anyone ever ridden a Suzuki Boulevard M109R? How would you compare it to Rocket 2.5L?

More comfy for a cross country ride - less fast and kewl.

M8, Kick stand frame mount bolt. My 29" inseam keeps me off 13" as well. Wish I could use them.

Ultimate lean angle on a Rocket III Roadster without falling over?

The pegs (feelers are useless) and OEM or TORs exhaust are all too low. You can chamfer the peg ends off and still drag around a twisty and eliminate the chicken strip. The kick bolt and engine guards will drag next. Adding Standard boards will get you another inch or more. Also 13 inch rear...

    Resource Download OEM_TOR_Tune_20776

Rob (Claviger) is not around here much anymore. He is very busy with school and wor. I think this tune is for a stock engine. If so, you are adding a header system, and should have it professionally dyno-tuned.

2016 Rocket III - Time for Tires - But which ones...and what sizes?

I also believe the 150 Michelin works better with the wide rear tire and has bettter grip than the 140/75R17, which is ab OK tire, if preferred.

Loopy, I must ask, how do you know this? I have been told that the RamAir is good up to 200 whp, or so. After that you're going to need more air. I'd like to know exactly what were your problems with the two forty and RamAir?

2016 Rocket III - Time for Tires - But which ones...and what sizes?

Have you considered the Mischelin Road 6 150/70R17? Same circumference and even better grip and mileage.

Where oh where are all the Rockets?

Amigo, If weight equaled fun, we'd all be riding Honda 50s? I think motorcycle fun is power, acceleration, speed, and hooning the twisties. Sport bikes do this best. When an aged body can no longer wrap around a sport bike for many miles, compromises become necessary. Comfort without pain...

Enjoyed your post. All the way up to the end. Curious what Sportster fun is there you can't have exponentially more of on the Rocket??? Inquiring minds need to know . . . 😝

Ultimate lean angle on a Rocket III Roadster without falling over?

Almost no chicken strips, AND this includes allowing the dragging boards to fully spring all the way up to stop. I also have road rash on my engine cases and kick stand mount bolt, so very close to max IMHO.

Ultimate lean angle on a Rocket III Roadster without falling over?

Hey, my yet unmet Amigo! Besides the age of the original post, lean angle on a big-butt cruiser tis a subject near and dear to me. For hooning the twisties, the Roadsters have poor lean angle. The newer 2.5 Rockets lean angle are greatly improved. I found that installing the "Standard" boards...
