I certainly understand that. The ignition on my 2006 Classic with only 21000 miles on it failed within 2 weeks after I bought it back in 2018. That is when I joined this forum and learned the good. the bad and the ugly about the Rocket III. After learning about the problem and options for dealing with it I decided to install the DeCosse keyless ignition and was very happy with his unit but years later I removed it when I encountered power shutdowns which we theorized were caused by heavy RF traffic in the airways when I rode the bike close to Naval facilities. Decosse modified the unit to connect to my 2008 Touring and it worked more reliably in that bike. He then repaired the '06's ignition switch solder joints for me and up until a few weeks ago it was working fine. I can only guess it was again a failure inside the ignition switch. With the ignition key turned on the bike was dead. I checked every fuse and relay and examined every connector and harness as best I could and could not find a fault. That's when I decided to try and, admittedly, gamble on the Guard Dawg keyless system. I concluded that it was, again, the ignition switch failing. Bypassing the ignition switch with the Guard Dawg is working great. I've left the ignition switch in place so on those very rare times I want to lock the forks I can. Hope you get your ignition sorted out soon. I well know what a pain in the butt ignition problems can be.
