Gone home??? Bollocks, I've far more stamina than you give me credit for. Mind you, at the end of the day it was MY bat and MY ball so I could have done what ever I pleased. SO there...Embarrassing.........a grown man and allI'm pretty sure he would've taken his blue bike home if we hadn't let him

Had a similar experience about 30 years ago. Rode to Scotland with 4 others on Goldwings, me on my CBR1000. Got to the borders region and it started. 7 days on the trot of constant rain and a gale force wind to boot! Ended up spending 2 days in a farmers barn to try and dry out all the clothing, sleeping bags, tents, etc.. Got home and the sun was shining... Sods law
