    Thanks so much for this - I have never heard of Dave Platt but his exhausts looks superb. Good Youtube videos on his site which show you exactly how they sound too. I'll start saving but in fact they are not even that expensive for such quality products.

    Great thanks. One more question, do the Heritage bags fit with the standard registration plate hanger and indicators (which I have). It looks from the photo that you have a tail tidy fitted from the look of the indicators.

    Had a look at the Hepco & Becker luggage - it is even smaller than the Triumph stuff, at only 12L a side. I will have to save up for the Corbin stuff, or hope that someone else does some reasonable hard cases in future. Come on Givi...

    Worth pointing out that I bought the bike used from the first owner so the optional extras were his - sport mirrors, tank pads, quick shifter, My Triumph bluetooth connectivity, pannier kit.

    My instruments are showing around 45mpg overall. Town riding gets it down to 30. It is a performance bike so I suppose that is around par for the course. I doubt you would get more from a superbike.

    Hi. Yep I turn the fob off (red light) when not using the bike. I do not store it anywhere near the bike - the bike is in my garage at the bottom of the garden and I keep the fob in my riding jacket hanging up near the front of the house. Around 50 yards between them.

    Re leg day - no, I used to squat 180kg in my prime. I do not have weak legs - I just find the length and weight of bike a bit tricky for feet up low speed manoeuvres.
