  1. Genuine Triumph Tail Bag - FAIL In my case.

Yep your right, but I specifically asked for a suitable bag for the tail rack. The lack of knowledge from the dealer was the reason they got it in to try. It's a piss poor design. It fits the rear seat, I know....but why the heck they couldn't design a bag suitable for the rear rack is beyond...

Just as well I returned it then.
  3. Genuine Triumph Tail Bag - FAIL In my case.

I recently brought a new R3GT. I went ahead and brought the matching panniers (ok- but could be improved on) at the time thinking I might get a tail bag for the rear rack that I also purchased. I researched and struggled to find any useful information about the tail bag apart from a couple of...
  4. Pulled the trigger on R3 Storm GT yesterday...Not too impressed with dealer about options to add.

I have Barkbusters on my adventure bike and have typically replaced the factory ones on various bikes I've owned in the past 10 years. I learnt from a Vstrom that fell over all by itself on my driveway ( I suspect combination of vibrations and the stamped pattern concrete) , I digress....Anyway...

Cheers Tal, nice part of the country you're in. Got the best touring roads in the country imho. es , quickshifter part of the deal, thanks for sharing info on the suspension. I have watched the video, but waiting until I've run a few more k's before adjusting. . I'll set it eventually for two...

Gidday, I'm a bit further north than Auckland. I have the same options on my bike. I've had a couple of rides and It's growing on me. It's certainly has the "get down and boogie" and that's still running in. You're just timing it right for the good weather over the next few months. May see you...

I thought the connectivity module would have much more going for it. I'm kinda in the camp of preferring to use a dedicated GPS Unit (Tomtom400) that I could swap between my bikes rather than using my phone.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks and the helpful advice. I do appreciate that. The quick shifter is included in the main purchase price. Never used one before and on teh test ride I couldn't get to grips with it. (time will only tell if it's worthwhile or just a gimmick) I have ordered the...

Gidday from a new owner in NZ. Still to take delivery of it and looking at what items I want to put on the bike. I wanted something that was going to give me abuzz every time I go fro a ride and also has the comfort factor for regular two up riding. I think this will tick that box. At this...
