    Tires etc.

When the time comes I guess I’ll be trying the cruisetec’s. Shame the avons are not an option anymore and I’m not going with the exedra, the last thing I need is for the bike to be even higher.

    The oil leak got me.

Not sure if the link will work but I started a thread with a few photos on this when it happened to mine and yeah it was basically a few orings even though it looked like something with the engine block itself. https://www.r3owners.net/attachments/img_8186-jpeg.133264/

What do you think about the riding modes? Do you find them useful?

I started out primarily in road mode but then switched to sport once I got more comfortable with the torque and stay on sport all the time now really. It’s my daily commuter and I’m in traffic a lot with stop and go sometimes but the twitchiness doesn’t bother me. Maybe because my other bike is...

First service, what did people pay? I was just quoted $380

Good to know, I appreciate it. I was thinking for next time to call St George or even ones in Cali. It either will be that or I’ll start doing it myself cause I’m not paying that for an oil change every year.

$670 here in Vegas, beyond ridiculous. I’m going to find another option or do it myself cause there is no way I’m spending that every year not to mention the other times it need service.

    Vandemon cans and headers.

Any updates you might be able to provide @King Lear on your experience thus far? Would be great to hear more feedback!

Where oh where are all the Rockets?

My Indian Scout is similar at 550 lbs wet and it’s very quick and fun. However, you don’t really start getting into max hp/trq until 5-8K rpm and the trq throughout the power band isn’t even comparable to the rocket 3. When it comes to splitting, it is narrow and easier in that sense, but lacks...

    Rear Brakes

Thanks for sharing this and I’m going to have the local dealer check it out when I take it in for the annual check. The rear brake on my 2024 Rocket 3 GT has been soft from the time I purchased it at a different location and so much so that I rely on front braking far more than I do on my...

    Trackers

I keep a Monimoto tracker on my bike at all times. Any movement and I’ll get alerts on my phone right away.

    Already leaking oil

I didn’t see this thread before but the same thing happened to my 2024 GT and they had to replace the o rings/gear sensor so it might be a common issue.

New 2.5L owner, things I hate about the motorcycle.

Different bikes are good at different things but I doubt there is a single bike good at everything. I bought my Rocket 3 for commuting to work every day and short trips which in my opinion it excels at and is a blast to ride in the process. If I want to take a longer ride, that’s when I jump on...

    Dead battery/tenders

I appreciate all the feedback and was told it had a bad cell so they will replace it. The shop it wasn’t under warranty but I asked them to submit a request anyways as triumphs website says batteries are covered for 12 months from time of purchase and I’m still within that. Either way I’ll keep...
