@Webbo Ah! I think you may've solved the problem. Thanks.
I did lift the seat to see what was in the area of where the band came from and saw the assorted wiring etc.
I guess the arrow head bit on the band was threaded through and around the box?
What a pathetic arrangement! A bit of wire...
Thanks. I guess it could be something that got left in there when it was assembled? Funny arrow part on it made me wonder if it was some sort of rubber seal.
It went in for its first MOT test today and passed, even with the loud exhaust. They tightened up the decibel laws in the UK this year...
Hi Folks. I was cleaning the bike today, and noticed a little thread of something hanging down. Thinking it was a bit of debris, I pulled gently and this came out. It has an arrow shaped part on it. I've ringed in red the area I pulled it from.
My 2p’s worth. I never even sat on a motorbike until the age of 65.
I had already looked at the Rocket (2016) before I learned to ride and pass my test.
I’m 6’ 2” and about 190lbs. Medium build.
Just take it easy until you’re really used to it, the weight especially.
3 years on and I’m fine...
Don’t like the rear of it either. Showed the concept photo to a mate, said he preferred the style of my current Rocket.
My missus doesn’t like it either.
If I had the money, I wouldn’t be interested enough to take one for a test ride.
A bike licence was the only licence I didn’t have, so I learned to ride in 2016. Reason for buying the Rocket new?
I saw a brand new one way back in 2004 and vowed if ever I got a bike licence, I would buy a new Rocket.
Came across this on the web.
Any Captains on here frequent this place?

Hi Mikey, and welcome! My wife and I are planning a week in August in the north of Spain. I’ve been there before but not on a bike. Stunning roads and scenery. It will be great to post up some pics. Have a great time.
M @Grumpy Ole Codger - So, here are the print outs of my Dyno today.
I asked for smoothness and longevity as priorities and this is how it turned out.
It certainly feels more responsive but mostly small roads and rush hour traffic on the trip home. I’ll open her up on the weekend and see if it...
