    Nice idea. I was considering that but didn't want to get the dipstick... I did coat the back with marine rtv to seal the holes as I realized that might have a small amount of water drip in. You did a nice job on yours!

    Which one did you go with... I found several of them on Amazon's... 7/8" dia bar with 2" rise and the 1 1/8" dia bar with 2" rise. I am liking this route better than the other simply for ease of installation and better positioning.
