    Rider Modes

I live in a area with lots of firs and Alders around me. This is in Washington State and we get lots of rain during spring and fall and the trees drop a lot of debris on the roads which causes the roads to get a moss like substance to grow on them. This can definitely get slippery and you need...

Good choice for crash bars for my 23 GT

I'd talk to a dealer and see if there is a difference between the GT and the R, I don't see why there would be but that doesn't mean crap. I can only be of so much help here as I am an electrician not a mechanic. It took a lot of finesse to get them on but in the end it is a good install and I'm...

Good choice for crash bars for my 23 GT

What year is your bike? My top bolt didn't look like it was long enough either, but it ended up being perfect. Again, so long as your bottom bolts are still in you should be fine removing the top bolt. When I loosened the nut on mine the bolt was loose enough just pull out, no weight on it at all.

Sorry, bottom bolts. Top bolt is just 1 long bolt that is the top engine mount.

Top bolt is 1 long bolt. You can take it out without fear of the engine dropping, just make sure you still have the boron bolts in. The bolts in the bottom are one new one on each side and one of the originals reused. The new ones come with the kit.

Good choice for crash bars for my 23 GT

The single top bolt has to come out, as I recall it is pulled out from the right side. Once loosened it took very little effort to remove it. It is not holding the engine from dropping but I did put a floor jack under it just in case. Any parts that needed to be replaced are included with the...

If we're talking the same piece, it is a tool they send to tighten one of they're bolts.

My bike is at the tuner getting recapped. Been there a couple of weeks. When I get it back I'll be glad to include more pics.

New 2.5L owner, things I hate about the motorcycle.

Another answer is install crash bars and add highway pegs. Thus adding protection and the ability to change riding positions.

    Heat gaurd

I saw a note in someone's post awhile back that there was information posted on ways of protecting your leg from the heat from the exhaust pipes on the rocket 3s. I am trying not to burn holes in my new rain pants so any notes/ideas on this would be appreciated. I've tried different searches...
