Question for those who installed Carbon Parts

saving a few hundred grams by spending hundreds of dollars is kind of silly tbh. spending hundreds of dollars to improve the looks by adding CF is kind of the same.. does it look nice, sure! is it worth it? that’s up to you… I’ve added CF to other bikes in the past and never had any issues.

    Metzler Cruisetec vs. Avon Cobras

I’ve switched to the cruisetec and find them better (for me) compared to the avon. the cruisetec have a taller v-shaped profile that definitely turn in a lot quicker with more traction at lower pressures than the Avon. I’m very happy with these “Pirelli’s”

Why are people selling their Rockets?

I've owned more bikes than I’m willing to admit, that said not selling my 23 carnival red GT with mid mounted pegs… ever! to many regrets over the year. this bike make you smile every time you throw a leg over. this is the last of the big machine breed…

    Tires etc.

some correction to your lean angle statement… lean angle comes from grip - more grip results in tighter turn radius. tires play a crucial role in improving lean angle by providing the necessary grip and contact patch for cornering. The tire's profile also affects how much lean angle is possible...

What’s the last thing you bought for your rocket…

I purchased a larger flyscreen (actually a touring screen) from a local manufacturer, essentially the same size as on the older rocket touring. It significantly reduced the wind resistance on my torso and helmet. My fuel consumption also improved from 14.5km/l to 15.5km/l with normal riding...

    oil cap

I agree with you sir. It’s atrocious how owners on this forum diss Triumph. I would have expected something like this on KTM forums. Ducati and Triumph are likely the 2 most successful brands as it stands. Half the folk on here are clowns at best… I’ll take that back, half the folk here are...

Rear brake recall someone did it 14mm brake cylinder replacement?

The brake recall is a voluntary recall by the dealership and if done is free of charge. I had mine done around 10 months ago, needed a second manual bleed and brakes are working perfect ever since.

    oil cap

These caps don’t just fall off, or hanging on by just hope as mentioned above. This is user induced error by not properly inserting the dipstick and then incorrectly fitting the cap. If it stayed on by hope this tread would be a lot longer and older… This bike has been out for 5 years now and...
